Hey, My name is Obehi Momodu and I am so happy you’ve found my corner of the internet! Currently, I am a junior at Randolph-Macon Academy and have a budding interest in exploring issues surrounding public policy in educational and artistic spaces. I first became intrigued by the topic in late 2024 when I founded SNAPSHOT Donations ( https://www.snapshotsz.com/ ) , an annual summer initiative determined to bring arts access and education to disadvantaged youth in the area. By meeting these kids and watching how deeply their educational and personal lives have been impacted by the policy makers and legislators in North Carolina, I wanted to learn more about what issues needed to be confronted in my area and how I could add more to the conversation, thus the blog. But aside from simply talking about policy, I am also enthralled to begin working on this blog as a personal project for myself as I love to write and read about topics meaningful to me. So, while you are here, I hope you learn something new and feel more prepared to enter the multiple  dialogues surrounding public policy, the arts and more!
